The DCG Rocks! The Scavenger Hunt is a fun, safe, socially distant alternative that incorporates some of what we love about Reading Rocks into a brand new adventure! This multi-week event will include a virtual kickoff, scavenger hunt missions with the GooseChase app, fun prizes, silent auction, and engaging at-home activity kits.
Our 1,900+ elementary students and their families will have the opportunity to celebrate the end of the school year with a scavenger hunt throughout Grimes, Dallas Center and your home.
DCG Rocks! The Scavenger Hunt will start with a virtual kickoff on April 30. Make sure to watch the kickoff video to get a clue for your first mission! Missions will start posting to the GooseChase app May 1st. New missions will be posted each week so keep checking the app.
Prizes!
Earn points for each mission completed. Teams with the most points will receive an amazing prize basket. In order for your team to qualify for a prize, you need to be registered and (1) team member must be a DCG elementary student.
